AREA MANAGER SPAIN & PORTUGAL
Medical Devices / Cochlear Implants

Its main functions are:
- P&L responsible for AB sales operations in Iberia.
- Defines, implements, supervises and drives strategic direction, objectives and targets at territory and country level to gain maximum profitable sales and market share.
- Allocates and utilizes internal resources, people and money, in the most effective way to meet business objectives.
- Identifies and grows human talent and builds a strong performance driven team to enhance the company’s reputation for excellence in clinical support and customer service.

Main Responsibilities:
- Introduction and sales of products and services to all cochlear implant centers and professionals in the territory.
- Manage the Iberia area team to meet and exceed customer expectations and build an industry-leading team.
- Work with distributors in Portugal in order to ensure the same level of service and support is provided across the territory.

Requisitos

Requisitos: Formal requirements:
- Minimum a Bachelor of Science degree required.
- Desirable degree in Engineering, Life-science, Marketing, Business Administration, Biology or another relevant advanced degree. Specialized training courses in Sales will be an asset.
- At least 5 years’ experience in the medical devices sector, e.g. in a functional management role, as a Sales Manager, Project Leader, Business Unit Manager, etc. Experience in cochlear implants will be much highlighted.
- Fluency in written and verbal communication in English/Spanish. Other languages, e.g. German is an asset.
- Strong experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and knowledge of CRM systems. Desirable Visio, MS Project, SAP.
- Availability to travel frequently.

- Must possess a role model personality, have a proven ability to effectively operate, communicate and manage in an international matrix environment, working effectively with sales management, physician customers (ENTs) and across district and organizational boundaries.
- Results oriented with a sense of urgency; the ability to work in a fast paced environment under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high degree of intercultural competence. Facilitation skills to reach constructive solutions without losing ground.
- Open and transparent leadership and communication style, both towards local staff and corporate colleagues.
- Results-oriented leader with high integrity, interpersonal effectiveness, and strong skills in performance management in small teams.
Nivel de estudios mínimo requerido: Diplomado
Idiomas requeridos: Inglés nivel Alto.
Experiencia profesional mínima requerida: de 5 a 10 años
Disponibilidad para viajar requerida: El 60% del tiempo laboral
