In this strategic position, as a Regional Sales Manager, you will report to Regional API Commercial Director and will be responsible for managing sales, customers, business development and the set up & execution of sales/account plans for the assigned region/customers.

Description


  • Maintain and grow sales for the assigned region/accounts in line with annual sales budgets

  • Develop and execute country and accounts plans t.o0 effectively manage sales in the region.

  • Accurate sales forecasting & planning

  • Act in full compliance incl embargo checks in complete alignment with the company compliance officer

  • Drive front end loading in line with the commercial strategy and business development plans

  • Track and report on progress of sales performance and actions to reach commercial objectives.

  • Maintains knowledge and awareness of competing products/services, discount and pricing structures, and overall strengths and weaknesses to determine the sales approach and feed back into the organization

  • Responsible for assessing the customers' needs on an ongoing basis, maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that are up to the business's standards accounts for the business.

  • Business development

  • Credit management

  • Optimizing PTO and OTC processes together with marketing and DSCM

  • Contribute to marketing strategy/plans

  • RAF/Budget cycles

Profile


  • High level proficiency in English; French very desirable

  • BSc degree in Life Science or Business

  • Minimum of 5 yeas as a Regional Sales Manager for API sector

  • To successfully fulfil the role, you will have to demonstrate strong leadership and good team-management abilities, influencing skills and decision-making profile.

  • Availability to travel as needed

  • Personal characteristics: team player, networker, pro-active, persuasive, culturally sensitive, hands-on mentality, flexible, and able to cope with high pressure.
